There is a custom to bake key-shaped challah in honor of the Shabbat after Pesach.


The key-shaped challah symbolizes the key to livelihood which is in G‑d’s hand, and our prayers to Him to open the gates of livelihood for us.



Join us for an evening of fun and activity as we learn to make and braid mouthwatering Challah.

Come yourself and bring a friend


Enjoy kneading your own dough and trying out various braiding techniques while mingling with other Jewish women.
